Social / A visual notebook
Instagram.
A diagram, an experiment, a small thing worth looking at twice.
Visual notesSome ideas need a picture before they need a paragraph. A wave moving through another wave, a surface traced from two angles, or a liquid changing layers can give an abstract question a visible shape.
The visual direction here comes from the same experiments as the study notebooks: mathematical form, small simulations, interface details, and explanatory frames from the Linux and Chromium courses. Each image should carry one clear idea, with enough context to keep the picture honest.
A useful visual note names what changed, what stayed fixed, and what the image can actually show. A beautiful rendering can invite a question; the explanation underneath should help answer it.
What belongs here
One idea per frame
Use a single wave, parameter, or process boundary as the focus. Let the caption explain the relationship.
From sketch to system
Show the rough diagram beside the finished explanation so the choices remain visible.
Motion with a reason
Use movement to reveal a change in state, a cause, or a sequence that a still image cannot explain.
